Paul Barraclough: Non-Executive Chairman
Paul is a chartered civil engineer. He moved to commercial activities through employment with 3i, the UK-based international Venture Capital company. For 15 years of his near 30 year career as a venture capitalist, Paul ran the Worknorth funds owned by the Manchester Airport Group. The Worknorth II fund invested in early-stage product based technology businesses including the Farfield Group. Paul now has non-executive roles with a number of technology companies through his consultancy Tecmentor Limited.

Gerry Ronan, PhD: Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining Farfield in 2000, Gerry commercialised a broad range of high-technology instrumentation for medical, nuclear, scientific and industrial applications holding board-level positions in multinational, SME and start-up companies over a twenty year period. Gerry has a PhD in Physics from the University of Manchester, is a member of the SPIE and is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics.

Robert Hutton, PhD: Sales nad Marketing Director
Robert has operated in several senior commercial roles for (laterly US) scientific instrumentation companies expanding into Europe. Most recently Robert successfully set up and ran Transgenomic's sales and marketing operations in Europe (EMEA). As European MD he grew organic sales in 4 years to support a successfulNasdaq IPO. He also achieved significant success developing the potential of their new UK manufacturing acquisitions and integrating them into the global corporate strategy. Robert is also an experienced commercial project manager conversant with both large scale facility build projects and also early stage commercialisation projects.

Louise Madden, ACA: Director
Louise, who is a Chartered Accountant, joined the Farfield Board in January 2005. Louise had previously spent 11 years with KPMG where her clients included large PLC's with global household brands - characteristics that match Farfield Group's future aspirations. Her background of listings, mergers and acquisitions and group reconstructions adds to the maturity and relevant experience of the Farfield Group Board.
